About our Not for Profit Enterprise
Our current Enterprise was born in November 2022, following the continuation of the service provided by the Asian Lunch Club which had been in operation for the last 10 years.
The Asian Lunch Club’s primary focus was to provide freshly cooked Gujarati style vegetarian food to the local community in Leicester. We have continued with that activity but our focus is one of humbly providing the same food to the Homeless and Needy in Leicester.
As a consequence, our current activity of cooking freshly prepared Gujarati Vegetarian Food is a means to an end to our primary goal of ensuring that no one in our Leicester Community should go hungry.
When you pay for a meal either at our Centre or through our delivery service – you actively contribute towards feeding a homeless or needy person in Leicester.
We are working towards extending our reach and activities to make a greater impact to the local community in Leicester.

Our Patrons – the True Heros
Currently every Wednesday, we provide through the medium of cooked food, a space for the local community to meet and share food and good conversation with other members of the Community. Most of our patrons are elderly and we believe our offering promotes to their mental wellbeing.
In addition, we provide a Tiffin delivery service to reach out to those individuals that, for whatever reason, cannot attend our space. These two groups are our Patrons. Through their support we take a step towards our Goal.
Our Patrons support us through Financial Donations, Food Donations and their time. They are our true Heros. We are able to feed the Homeless and needy directly by virtue of their active involvement.
YOU ARE THE TRUE HEROS
We started this journey in November 2022 with a vision to ensure “No person in Leicester should go hungry” – we are aware that many people who are Homeless do not get a proper meal. Further there is a hidden community of people (not homeless) who for countless reasons do not get a proper meal. Our aim is to reach out to all these people and ensure we do our part in ensuring that they get a proper meal. Hence our strapline “ Service to Humanity is a Blessing”.
In this journey, we are a very small part – we recognise that without your support in purchasing a meal we would not be able to complete our mission. It is for that reason you are our True Heros. You are making a difference towards eliminating hunger in Leicester. We are very grateful to you
