I want to start off by saying a massive thank you to you and your patrons for all the food we have received over the past months.
The food has be a blessing to our service users.
The food has been split between our service users (ingeus) and the shaw trust hub which is also situated at Volunteer action Leicester.

We work with people who are on the edge of society, people who have addiction issues, homelessness, mental health problems etc. I know from feedback I’ve been getting from SU the food has been a massive help and might be the only cooked food some of these people get on a weekly basis and is much appreciated.
(The Shaw Trust)
The shaw trust is a social inclusion hub based at Volunteer action Leicester and supports people with all kinds of issues homelessness, social isolation, finding work, training etc.
The know from speaking to staff and SU there, that the food is much appreciated and is helping to get people through the door and engaging with the service.
One of the service users told me that the food is the highlight of his week which is truly humbling and thought provoking we sometimes we don’t realize how blessed we are.
When I turn up with the food on a Wednesday the smiles on the SU faces are priceless and such a privilege to see people who are normally isolated sharing a meal together.
